When comparing with Windows XP and Windows Vista, the blue screen of death annoyance is very less with Windows 7. It doesn’t mean BSOD error cannot occur to Windows 7. Now Microsoft has noted that Windows 7 might crash with blue screen of death error. When Windows 7 could not recover from this type of kernel level error, a blue screen would be displayed with the error details. This error contains a STOP error code, which would indicate the type of error. Due to blue screen error it would cause the system crash.
Following are the tips to fix Windows 7 blue screen error:

  1. Device driver updation

Device driver updation
The common cause of blue screen errors might be a device driver problem. Outdated and the corrupt drivers could cause the system to cause STOP error, which would result in blue screen of death. So in order to fix these errors, you need to reinstall and update the drivers. The file name which appears in the screen would help you to identify the driver. If you have any virus issues also that might be the cause of the corruption of drivers. So try to use the best antivirus to prevent such issues.
Repair registry
In order to remove these errors you need to run a scan for registry errors. You could use the registry cleaners in order to eliminate registry errors. You have to repair that. In order to remove the blue screen when you boot up, you need to try starting the system in ‘safe mode’. This could be done by tapping the F8 key whenever your CPU is starting up. In safe mode, you could be able to scan your computer for errors. This is most easier and fast way to cure blue screen boot problems.
System restore and replacing RAM
Some new software installation would result in malicious state of your Operating System. So try to check and remove that. If nothing is efficient you have to perform the system restore. You have to run the system in safe mode. Then all the past restore points could be seen. Sometimes RAM makes problems. In order to solve that, you have to replace RAM.
